Trimble AgGPS 170 Field Computer
Hardware
Designed to withstand the harsh environment of the agriculture
industry the Trimble AgGPS 170 has a fully sealed cast aluminum housing, a high
resolution sunlight readable-color screen, backlit keypad, and runs on 12 or 24
volt systems. The 170 provides for a graceful shutdown if power is
lost. All data is stored on a removable CompactFlash data card.
Software
The AgGPS 170 runs on the Microsoft Windows CE operating system
that is designed for mobile applications. The Trimble software includes:
field guidance, mapping, variable rate application, soil sampling, record
keeping, office management of field work, field history table, and display for
navigation.
